May 15, 2021 - Nu Chapter (Pennsylvania State University) awarded Undergraduate Chapter of the Year 2019 - 2020 at the 73rd Second District Conference by 37th Second District Representative Bro. Kevin K. Ampofo and 2nd District Achievement Week Chairman Bro. Kier Pemberton.

Achievement Week
Originally designed to promote the study of Negro life and history. Achievement Week is observed in November of each year and is designed to seek out and give due recognition to those individuals at the local and international levels who have made a noteworthy contribution toward improving the quality of life for black Americans. A High School Essay Contest is to be held in conjunction with Achievement Week. This contest is open to all college-bound high school seniors. College scholarships are awarded to the winners, each of whom must submit an essay on a theme/topic chosen by the fraternity. This contest is a phase of the International Achievement Week Observance.
For 109 years, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. has made a tremendous impact on world standing on a firm foundation consisting of its four cardinal principles: Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift. The 2020 Achievement Week celebration will be held on Nov. 15 - 21st and our theme is “Omega Men Ushering in Social Change.” The Mighty Second District proudly celebrates the many contributions and accomplishments of its brothers, chapters, and citizens.
